Hello...

My experience is in working with clients from varying backgrounds and abilities.  Due to my training I can work with a wide range of presenting issues.  I am interested to work with clients on differing issues they would like to explore within Psychotherapy sessions.  The spectrum of presenting issues I work with includes: Stress; Depression; Anxiety; PTSD; Low mood; Self Harm; Bereavement and Loss; Trauma; Abuse.  I completed my clinical placement at St Martin's Counselling and Psychotherapy service in Birmingham.  Having completed a Level 7 Postgraduate Psychotherapy Diploma I am now a BACP Registered Member in Private Practice alongside completing the remaining requirements to become an accredited UKCP Psychotherapist.   My experience in working with clients has enabled me to develop a greater understanding and knowledge of working with more complex mental health presentations and use a Trauma informed approach when needed.  I also work with couples and young people and have been employed as a Children's and Young Person's Therapist for a charity.   Having achieved a postgraduate certificate in working with couples, I am currently enrolled on a children's diploma to complement my experience.
